On聽February 29, 2020 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Garden City police investigated a report of a female walking on South Avenue at Whitehall Boulevard when a white pick-up truck pulled up to her and the male driver made two hand motions to her to get in the vehicle.
On聽February 29, 2020 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Garden City police investigated a report of a female walking on South Avenue at Whitehall Boulevard when a white pick-up truck pulled up to her and the male driver made two hand motions to her to get in the vehicle. The windows to the vehicle were closed, however the driver appeared to be saying “get in”. When the female walked away, the vehicle left the scene eastbound on South Avenue without further incident. 聽Anyone with further information is requested to call the Garden City Detective Division at 516-465-4108.

The driver is described as a male/white with dark hair in his thirties, wearing a white tee-shirt.
