The unprecedented jump is part of Adelphi鈥檚 consistent rise in the U.S. News rankings of America鈥檚 best undergraduate nursing programs.
The 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings are out, and the 成人动漫网站 College of Nursing and Public Health has once again been recognized as offering one of the nation鈥檚 best undergraduate nursing programs.
This year, the news is the remarkable rise the College鈥檚 BS in Nursing program has made. Climbing 32 spots, the program is No. 186 among the 686 programs ranked by U.S. News this year. It is the third year in a row that the program has climbed in the rankings, moving up 61 spots since 2023.
Adelphi will be expanding its commitment to preparing students for nursing careers in 2026, as it will begin offering its Accelerated BS in Nursing program in New York City at its new Manhattan Center on Fifth Avenue and 44th Street. (The accelerated program on Adelphi’s main campus in Garden City is also being expanded, as it will now welcome a new class of students in January as well as in May.) The state-of-the-art Manhattan Center will include a simulation lab where nursing students gain hands-on clinical experience. The Clinical Education and Simulation Lab (CESiL) in Garden City recently became the first such lab on Long Island to receive national accreditation.

Innovative Learning Opportunities Are the Program鈥檚 Strengths
Recognized by the as one of only 13 institutions designated as a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education, the College of Nursing and Public Health offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs providing students with the most up-to-date learning and training experiences.
Training in the simulation lab is central to the College鈥檚 educational program, providing a learning experience that is highly realistic as well as risk-free. The 22-bed facility in Adelphi鈥檚 Nexus Building simulates the hospital environment and is home to seven clinical exam rooms, a delivery suite with a high-fidelity birthing manikin, pediatric space, a simulated home-care setting and three additional high-fidelity manikins.
The simulation lab is especially vital due to the limited number of clinical training placements available in today鈥檚 overstressed healthcare market.
Career-Building Connections
The College also provides undergraduate students with networking opportunities that lead to solid career connections. Members of the and the 成人动漫网站 Men in Nursing Association attended this year鈥檚 National Student Nurses Association annual conference in Seattle, Washington, this spring, where they participated in workshops, learned new skills and met with representatives from healthcare employers and graduate programs.
On campus, the two student nursing associations regularly offer opportunities to engage with faculty, healthcare organizations and nursing students from across the region.
Top Graduate Programs, Too
Adelphi鈥檚 graduate programs in nursing have even loftier rankings. For the second year in a row, they achieved Top 100 status in the U.S. News Best Graduate Nursing Schools rankings. Our master鈥檚 programs鈥攚hich include an MS in Nursing Education, , and MS in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner鈥攊s 84th in the current rankings, up eight spots from the previous year. The College of Nursing and Public Health鈥檚 Doctor of Nursing Practice in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is also ranked on the U.S. News Best Nursing Schools list of doctoral programs.
