ID cards expire upon leaving the employment of the University or upon a student\u2019s graduation or leaving the University. Alumni ID cards are issued upon request after confirmation of alumni status.<\/p>\n<p><span>For your convenience, you are able to use a digital ID on your smartphone using the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/it-services\/mobile-app\/\">成人动漫网站 mobile app<\/a><span>. However, the physical ID card distributed by Public Safety remains the only official identification for access control to buildings, parking facilities, and venues, and when requested by a University official. Please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/policies\/university-id\/\">University\u2019s ID Card Policy<\/a> for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>How to Get a Physical ID Card<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the Office of Public Safety and Transportation.<\/li>\n<li>Current students should bring a form of identification (i.e. License, Passport), in addition to, proof of payment, confirmation of classes, and\/or other evidence that you are currently registered at the University.<\/li>\n<li>Alumni should provide a photo ID and student number (if known) for status confirmation.<\/li>\n<li>After completing the paperwork, a photo will be taken for the ID card, which is printed while you are in the office.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Online Photo ID Card Request<\/h2>\n<p>Email the below information to <a href=\"mailto:student_photoid@adelphi.edu\">student_photoid@adelphi.edu<\/a> along with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adelphi ID Number<\/li>\n<li>Last Name, First Name, Gender<\/li>\n<li>Date of Birth<\/li>\n<li>Commuter or Resident<\/li>\n<li>Mobile Phone Number<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Contact; Name, Relationship, Mobile Phone Number<\/li>\n<li>Attach a form of identification such as a driver\u2019s license, passport or school ID<\/li>\n<li>Attach your photo. The image must be in JPEG file format as follows: Digital Image\/Passport Photo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-928\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/safety-transportation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2022\/07\/photo-id-guides-300x211.png\" alt=\"Diagram of 600px by 600px photo ID\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/safety-transportation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2022\/07\/photo-id-guides-300x211.png 300w, https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/safety-transportation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2022\/07\/photo-id-guides-768x541.png 768w, https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/safety-transportation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2022\/07\/photo-id-guides.png 836w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your photo or digital image (which will be used on your ID card) must be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In color<\/li>\n<li>Sized such that the head is between 1 inch and 1 3\/8 inches (22 mm and 35 mm) or 50% and 69% of the image&#8217;s total height from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head.<\/li>\n<li>Taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance<\/li>\n<li>Taken in front of a plain white or off-white background<\/li>\n<li>Taken in full-face view directly facing the camera<\/li>\n<li>With a neutral facial expression and both eyes open<\/li>\n<li>Taken in clothing that you normally wear on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline, unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face.<\/li>\n<li>Headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items are not acceptable in your photo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Garden City Campus<\/h3>\n<p>Your ID card will be available for pick up from the Public Safety Office located in Levermore Hall Suite 113. Until then you can utilize your digital ID on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/it-services\/mobile-app\/\">mobile app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you are a Resident Student during the fall semester move-in, you may be directed to obtain your ID card from your respective Residence Hall.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>NYC &#8211; Brooklyn Center<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Student, Faculty and Staff IDs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">SFC will provide a personalized Adelphi\/SFC ID card for each Adelphi community member who utilizes its NYC-Brooklyn Center campus. Here is how to obtain one:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/safety-transportation\/id-cards\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Upload your photo<\/a> to Public Safety<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After uploading your photo, contact Joanna Duarte, Student Services and Site Coordinator for the Brooklyn Center, at <a href=\"mailto:jduarte@adelphi.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jduarte@adelphi.edu<\/a> or 212.965.8340 ext. 8343 to request an Adelphi\/SFC ID card.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We will let you know when your Adelphi\/SFC ID card is ready for pick-up at the NYC-Brooklyn Center in the Adelphi office, Suite 5204.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Your Adelphi\/SFC ID card, which allows access to the SFC campus, should be in your possession at all times.
