Student Location
In accordance with federal regulations (34 CFR 搂 668.43) and State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) requirements, 成人动漫网站 determines the state or territory in which a student is located for purposes that include, but not are limited to, professional licensure and certification disclosures.
For purposes of this policy, 鈥渟tudent location鈥� is separate from residency classification for financial aid purposes.
Determination of Student Location at Initial Enrollment
A student鈥檚 location is determined at the time of initial enrollment in an academic program based on the student鈥檚 permanent/legal address maintained in the University鈥檚 student information system.
A student will be considered located in New York State if any of the following conditions apply at the time of initial enrollment:
- The student resides in University-sponsored housing;
- The student is enrolled exclusively in on-campus coursework during the initial term of enrollment;
- The student鈥檚 permanent/legal address on file with the University is located in New York State; or
- The student鈥檚 permanent/legal address is outside of the United States or its territories.
If none of the above conditions apply, the student鈥檚 location will be determined based on the U.S. state or territory associated with the student鈥檚 permanent/legal address on file with the University.
For purposes of this policy, initial enrollment refers to the student鈥檚 first term of enrollment in a specific academic program.
Changes in Student Location
Students are responsible for maintaining an accurate and current permanent/legal address with the University.
Students who relocate to another state or territory must update their permanent/legal address through the University鈥檚 official student information system.
A change in student location becomes effective on the date the updated address is processed and reflected in the University鈥檚 student information system.
Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosures
成人动漫网站 maintains professional licensure and certification disclosures for applicable academic programs on its State Licensure and Certification Disclosures webpage.
If a student enrolled in a program leading to professional licensure or certification changes their location to a state or territory where the program does not meet educational requirements for licensure or certification, 成人动漫网站 will provide the student with any disclosures required under applicable federal regulations and NC-SARA policies.
